Wearing Tuxedos to the Office
What you wear does say a lot about you and if the clothes you wear to work is not up to the expectations, you will find it is hard to be taken seriously and to move ahead. Of course, you getting hired at a job because you are qualified, but you will move forward a lot faster if you dress well.
It is all about the way you are viewed that is how people who meet and associate with on an everyday basis view you. If you put on a tuxedo styled just right for the office you would have made the perfect image of yourself already.
The reason why the image you would have created is much better is quite simple. It is an inevitable fact that people would assume that because you care so much and take care of how you look, you would also care and take perfect care of the work assigned to you.
Unfortunately, just having a decent suit may not be enough. Imagine that you are dealing with the board of a company, and you wish to sell the services of your company. Your potential clients will most probably all be dressed immaculately. You will need to submit the proposals of your company clad in a very smart, chic, probably Italian designer labelled tuxedo.
You still have to know what you are doing. Knowing what you are doing and dressing perfectly would help a lot.
Just imagine a vice versa situation as the guy on the other side of the table. If the man who is trying to sell his company to you arrives wearing a cheap jacket and pants with a despicable tie, you will not only look down on him but also his company for sending someone dressed in such a manner.
It’s a fact that we all have to live with, that we base an awful lot of importance on that first impression. I’m sure we can all remember creating a first impression of somebody, and have been later proved wrong. The “later” can be the difference in winning and losing..it could be too much later.
